Biogas plant Dorsten

The structural - and civil engineering works of the first construction phase of the biogas plant in Dorsten were nearly completed by the end of 2011.

The technical equipment is assembled at the moment. Depending on the local weather conditions the surface- and road work will be carried out in the first quarter of 2012. In parallel to construction of the first construction phase Dr.-Ing. B. Diering GmbH was commissioned for planning services of the second construction phase by EnD-I Bioenergy Dorsten GmbH & Co. KG.  Two concentrate tanks with 3,000 m³ useful volume each, another bunker silo with two chambers as well as a digestate refining with solid-liquid separation, ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis are planned for the liquid refined products in this extension measure.

Construction works for the second construction phase have already begun.

Biogas plant Dorsten

The constructive works at the biogas plant in Dorsten for the construction of 8 fermenters with a volume of approx. 3,100 m³ each are progressing well. The complete civil engineering works of the fermenters, pipeline bridges and stair tower foundations will be finished in calendar week 8. Four fermenter tanks were installed within short time by the plant manufacturer due to increased employment of staff and mild outdoor temperatures. Only the service platforms have to be installed. Two further tanks are currently being assembled. The completion of all assembly works is scheduled for the end of June 2011.

Currently Dr.-Ing. B. Diering GmbH provides the award procedures for the civil engineering works tendered for the remaining structures of the biogas plant in Dorsten. The commissioning is carried out by the client in the first quarter of 2011, so that construction works can start immediately. Our engineering company was commissioned by EnD-I Bioenergie Dorsten GmbH & Co. KG to provide the detailed design, the award procedure as well as quality assurance for this reference project.

Diering goes Egypt!

Our company currently prepares the basic and detail design for a two-stage aeration plant for a mixed municipal/industrial wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in the northern part of Cairo, Egypt. The WWTP designed 10 years ago became too small due to a considerable increase of industrial settlements in Mubarak Industrial City. Thus an adapted process design according to AB-procedure was chosen. The new WWTP is to be extended for 2,750,000 PE.

New documentation system
Web-Info System Eco (Wise) is almost finished.

A web-based information platform was developed and tested in daily operations during the years of cooperation with the operator of the WWTP Krefeld. Wise can be applied universally. It alleviates the provision and administration of all documents, which are necessary for the operation of technical plants. Besides economical advantages, Wise especially provides the user with legal security.
